The short version
- There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
- Audio files you drop in are analysed in your own browser and are never uploaded.
- Saved songs stay in your browser, on your device.
- No cookies are used.
- The site's host, Vercel, logs basic request details such as your IP address for about an hour.
- Fonts and album covers are served from this site, so your browser doesn't contact Google, Spotify or Apple.

What this site doesn't do
- No analytics, statistics or tracking scripts.
- No advertising and no cookies.
- No user accounts, profiles or email lists.
- No selling or sharing of your data.
- No fonts, images or scripts loaded from other companies' servers.
Cookies and storage on your device
- No cookies: this site doesn't set any.
skf.saved.v1in local storage: your saved songs. It stays in your browser and is never sent to this site.- An offline cache, only if you install the app: the offline page and the app icon.
You can remove all of these at any time by clearing your browser's data for this site.
Legal basis
The limited data described above is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): running a secure, working website and providing the features you choose to use, such as looking up a song from a link.
Data outside the EU
Vercel is a company based in the United States. It is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area. See Vercel's DPF certification and its data processing addendum.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask for its processing to be restricted, object to it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Because this site keeps no personal data of its own beyond the host's short-lived logs, it usually can't link any data to you, but please send a message to onlymolosolo@gmail.com and your request will be answered within one month.
If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Children
Solo Key Finder isn't intended for children under 16.
Changes
If the app starts handling data differently, this page will be updated first and the date at the top will change.
